Troubleshooting some performance problems
We’re currently experiencing some slowness on some of our hosted domains. So we’re looking into possible causes and will reboot the so there will about a minute of downtime.

mySQL Database Server Issues
Some hosted sites seem to be having problems with accessing their databases. We will have this fixed as soon as humanly possible!

UPDATE: After a terrifying 14 minutes of downtime this issue is taken care of. The mySQL server was not responding and a simple restart has fixed the issue. Please let us know if you notice any further interruptions in your service:

Dreamhost Downtime
Dreamhost is currently having some issues resulting in unplanned downtime. Will follow up as we know more.

We are currently experiencing above normal server usage and this is resulting in slower performance on some sites. Service speed should return to normal shortly.

CMS Upgrades
We’re rolling out some ongoing CMS updates to many clients today – no outages are anticipated. The updates address some security issues and bug fixes as well as provide us a better mechanism for providing future code updates.

mySQL Database Server Down
Our web host, Dreamhost, is having issues with our mySQL database server. They are looking into the issue and should have everyone back online shortly. We’ll keep you posted here as things develop.

Moving ALL hosted domains to new hardware
We are currently moving all of our domains over to new and improved hardware. There will be a small amount of downtime during this process. Please check back here for further info as the move is completed.

UPDATE: We tracked the issue down to a faulty memory managing perl script – so the issue should be fixed. Will keep monitoring performance to be sure.
